Meet Our Cedar Park Orthodontic Team

Martha, Financial Coordinator. Martha joined Cedar Park Smiles in 2009. She handles the financial side of every patient’s file, including patient and insurance contracts, payments, financial and insurance questions, and working with the insurance companies directly. She also helps with phone calls, scheduling, and general office duties. She is happily married, with a daughter and a puppy named Bentley, and her favorite pastime is time with her family.

Merrill, Treatment Coordinator. Merrill joined the office in 2008. She is the one who walks new patients through what treatment will involve, shows you around the office, sits in on your exam, and goes over your financial options. She also helps at the front desk with phones, scheduling, and payments. What she likes most is watching patients grow and change over the course of treatment. She is married to her high school sweetheart, and they have two grown children and a granddaughter.

Monica, Registered Dental Assistant. Monica joined the team in 2014 and has worked in orthodontics since 2003. She assists chairside through treatment, and says her favorite part of the job is meeting new people and being part of a life-changing smile. She lives in Leander with her husband Aaron and their two boys, Devyn and Dakota. She likes being outside, camping, anything to do with water, building models, and home renovation.

Sam, Registered Dental Assistant and Front Office. Sam joined Cedar Park Smiles in November 2023. You will see her moving between the front desk, where she answers phones and schedules patients, and the treatment area, where she assists the doctor. She has been assisting for five years and found her passion for orthodontics in 2021. Outside work she spends time with her fiance and her son, and a lot of weekends watching him play soccer.
